ANR Headset for Fire, Rescue and EMS

The Active Noise Reduction (ANR) headset from Firecom enhances communication intelligibility by reducing low-frequency noise in high noise environments. The proprietary design of Firecom’s ANR headset was developed by its sister company, Flightcom Corp., for general aviation and military applications and has been successfully used for over 7 years. The ANR technology provides an additional 14 to 18dB noise attenuation beyond the headset’s current noise reduction ratio (NRR) rating of 24dB, achieving greater hearing protection and significantly enhanced voice communications.
